McKenzie Healthcare welcomes Lori Nugent
(Sandusky) – With 16 years’ experience in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Medicine and the Emergency Department, Certified Physician Assistant Lori Nugent is joining the McKenzie Family Healthcare location at 109 Delaware Street. A longtime Sandusky resident, Nugent will begin seeing patients on December 12th.
A graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Nugent sees patients of all ages and has a special interest in pediatrics and women’s health. She will join Dr. Michael Merkler and the growing team at McKenzie Family Healthcare.
Dr. Merkler said, “We are thrilled that Lori is coming back to McKenzie Health System to share her passion for health and wellness and her dedication to the local community.”
Nugent also has special certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
