(HURON COUNTY) – A single-vehicle accident early Friday morning claimed the life of a 27-year old man in Huron County. According to Sheriff Kelly Hanson, Travis Bauer was westbound on Kilmanagh Rd, west of Hartsell Rd. in Oliver Twp. around 4:30 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle.
Deputies said Bauer drifted off of the road, struck two culverts and went airborne, being ejected from his car. Hanson said the driver died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Oliver Twp. Fire Department and the Elkton Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
