(SANILAC COUNTY) – Sandusky Arts Council is excited to announce their cast of bands for the Summer, 2021 season of the Lawnchair Music Series.
Council President Kevin Kohn says, “It’s been a long time coming, but we’re back and we are so looking forward to a hot summer and some cool evening music.”
The lineup of music kicks-off on June 25 with the following line up:
June 25 – Taylor Tucky Band plays contemporary country music. They have played with Trent Harmon, Thompson Square, Brothers Osborne, Joe Nichols, Kentucky Head Hunters and Jason Michael Carroll.
July 02 – Bill Denbrock Big Band takes us on a trip into the past with a repertoire that features songs from Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller and other favorites from the swing era. They also include more contemporary numbers from a variety of genres.
July 09 – Brenda Loomis Band – Brenda Loomis is a country music recording artist who has shared the stage with Little Big Town, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Georgia Line Band, Frankie Ballard, Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band, Chris Young, Brett Michaels, Lee Brice and many other noted artists.
July 16 – Threshold is one of Detroit’s hottest cover bands. They master rock music from the 60 ‘s through contemporary sounds.
July 23 – Josh Ramses Band does it all – playing blues, classic rock, and country music from the 50,s, 60,s, 70,s, and 80,s.
July 30 – Joey Vee is a fan favorite, returning this year with his unique country sound.
Sandusky Arts Council is working closely with the Sanilac County Health Department to make sure that our shows are presented in the safest possible way.
According to President Kevin Kohn, “We look forward to returning to the gazebo on the courthouse lawn and continuing what has become a tradition with many people from all over the county – sitting down in a lawnchair and relaxing after a long week and listening to Michigan made music – we’ve got some of the best!”
