A 26-year old Kingston woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-car crash in Sanilac County’s Marlette Township. Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to West Sanilac Road and Marton Road around 12:30 Thursday. Initial investigation revealed that a 2008 Ford Focus driven by the Kingston woman was heading east on Sanilac Road when she failed to yield to a Fed-Ex truck driven by a 22-year old Bay City man. The Kingston woman struck the Fed-Ex truck while it was slowing down to turn into a driveway. The driver of the truck was not injured. The Kingston woman was treated at the scene by Sanilac EMS before being transported to McKenzie Memorial Hospital in Sandusky for further treatment of undisclosed injuries.
