Michigan State Troopers with the Caro Post are seeking a person of interest in the suspected Wednesday night murder of a 41-year-old man from Vassar Township.
Jeffrey Stephan Evans, age 41, is believed to be armed and dangerous. Michigan State Police say the man stands at 6 ‘0”, 210 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, beige Carhart overalls and short brown boots.
He is a person of interest in the death reported on March 1 from a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road. The death was reported around 11:00 p.m., with the male victim being found shot dead at the scene.
With no suspect in custody nor any information given about the deceased, Michigan State Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Caro Post at 989-673-2156.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the MSP Emergency Support Team, MSP Canine Teams, MSP Aviation, MSP Bridgeport Crime Lab, and Vassar Police Department.
