Michigan State Troopers with the Caro Post are investigating the Wednesday night death of a 41-year-old man from Vassar Township as a homicide.
The death was reported about 11:00 p.m. on March 1, from inside a residence in the 4000 block of Kirk Road, with the man being found shot dead at the scene.
With no suspect in custody nor any information given about the deceased, Michigan State Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Caro Post at 989-673-2156.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the MSP Emergency Support Team, MSP Canine Teams, MSP Aviation, MSP Bridgeport Crime Lab, and Vassar Police Department.
