Sales Representative
Sanilac Broadcasting Company is seeking a full-time Sales Account Executive to sell and promote our multimedia advertising services in the Thumb and Blue Water Area. An Account Executive is the main point of contact for existing and prospective advertisers. Account Executives develop business relationships, sell advertising for our three radio stations and digital products, and build successful on-going advertising campaigns.
Essential duties include:
-Maintaining relationships with existing advertisers on your account list.
-Developing new accounts through research and cold-calling businesses in our coverage area. You will spend a great deal of your time outside of the office meeting with and creating advertising packages for new and existing clients.
-Preparing radio scripts for clients, advertising schedules/contracts, and sales literature for new and existing promotions and sales campaigns.
-Meeting sales goals and following leads set by management.
Requirements:
-Outside sales experience required, media sales experience preferred.
-Good communication skills and well spoken through in-person and e-mail communication.
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Demonstrate a drive to succeed by meeting or exceeding sales goals and helping local businesses promote their products and services.
