NEW YORK (AP) – Get ready for a “raw and unvarnished” memoir by Bobby Brown. Dey Street Books told The Associated Press on Tuesday that the platinum-selling singer, ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston and father of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown has a deal for “My Prerogative.” The book is scheduled to be released in June. In a statement issued through Dey Street Books, Brown calls it a journey through his “crazy, exciting, fascinating world.” Financial terms for the book were not disclosed. Dey Street is an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. News of the book comes less than three months after the death of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, who was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in January.
