(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — Two people were injured in a crash at Dixon and Higgins Roads in Tuscola County Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff’s deputies say they responded to the scene just before 12:30 p.m. and found that a vehicle traveling west on Dixon Road had failed to stop for the stop sign, entered the intersection and struck a semi hauling milk. The semi was traveling north on Higgins Road. The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year old woman, and her 16-year old passenger, both from Reese, were injured and taken by ambulance to a Saginaw hospital for treatment. The driver of the semi, a 36-year old Sandusky woman, was not injured.
