Lawyer: Police interviewed Cosby accuser again this year

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Police reviewing a 2005 sex abuse case against Bill Cosby have re-interviewed his accuser, but an election next week could determine if he’s charged.  A lawyer for ex-Temple University employee Andrea Constand says Constand was interviewed in August by suburban Philadelphia detectives.  Lawyer Dolores Troiani’s remarks came the day Constand filed a defamation lawsuit against the prosecutor who declined to charge Cosby a decade ago. Former Montgomery County prosecutor Bruce Castor has said Constand changed her story. Castor is running for another term as district attorney. Opponent Kevin Steele is the top deputy in the office, which reopened the Cosby probe this year. Castor hasn’t returned a message left Monday seeking comment. Constand accuses Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her. Cosby says his sexual relations with various women were consensual.
