ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) – Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh says his players are aware of the improved opportunity they now have to win a Big Ten title. The 15th-ranked Wolverines needed some help to have a shot to end its 11-year conference championship drought, and got it when rival Michigan State lost Saturday night at Nebraska. Now, the Wolverines need to win the rest of their final three games in the regular season and must have rival Ohio State or another team hand the Spartans another setback. If that scenario plays out, Michigan wins the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Buckeyes and would earn a spot in the Big Ten championship game. This Saturday Michigan is at Indiana at 3:30 p.m. while Michigan State hosts Maryland at Noon.
