(PORT HURON) — Port Huron Police continue to investigate the fatal crash that claimed the life of a Marysville man early Sunday morning. Police say the victim, 26-year old Glen Edwin Miller, was driving his motorcycle south on 24th Street when he collided with a van traveling east on Dove Street. The van, driven by a 62-year old Port Huron resident, had stopped at the flashing red light and proceeded to turn onto 24th when the crash occurred. The motorcycle struck the side of the van. A second motorcycle avoided the collision, but slid out of control on the pavement. Police say speed was a factor in the crash. Toxicology testing is underway to determine if alcohol or other substances were involved.
