Win at Green Bay will live on for 2015 Lions

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) – Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell says cornerback Nevin Lawson is going through the concussion protocol and cornerback Josh Wilson has a “pretty significant” injury. Caldwell spoke Monday after the Lions upset Green Bay 18-16, beating the Packers on the road for the first time since 1991. Detroit’s defensive backfield was decimated by the time the day was over, but Crezdon Butler, signed in the days leading up to the game, broke up a 2-point conversion pass by Aaron Rodgers in the final minute. The Lions then withstood Mason Crosby’s 52-yard field goal attempt on the final play after the Packers recovered an onside kick. Crosby’s kick missed badly.
