(PORT HURON) — The Port Huron Police Department reminds residents that effective December 1, 2015, the city’s snow ordinance goes into effect. Parking on paved city streets is prohibited between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. to allow for snow removal. The ordinance is in effect from December 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016. Warning notices will be issued for the first 5 days to remind residents, thereafter violators will be issued a $10 citation.
