(BURTCHVILLE TOWNSHIP) — The Mobil gas station in Lakeport was robbed early Wednesday morning. St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the business at 7756 Lakeshore Road just after 3:30 a.m. The clerk at the station informed police that a white man came into the business and demanded cash while implying that he had a gun. He was dressed in a dark hooded sweatshirt and black ski mask. Once he got the cash, he ran out of the store and headed south. Deputies followed the suspect’s footprints until they stopped at the shoulder of Lakeshore Road. No injuries were reported in the heist.
