(PORT HURON) — Three dogs in Port Huron have been euthanized after a woman was killed while in their backyard. Police Capt. Jeff Baker says the dogs were two adults and a puppy. Rebecca Hardy was fatally mauled last week by a pit bull and a pit bull-husky mix. Baker says it’s still unclear why the 22-year-old victim entered the fenced yard. He said it “makes no sense.” Hardy’s fiance lives on the same street. Police say there were no prior complaints about the dogs.
