NEW YORK (AP) – It wasn’t a rerun of the “Tonight Show” last night. Host Jimmy Fallon has yet another bandage on his hand. He told the audience he had surgery to correct nerve damage resulting from an accident over the summer. Fallon nearly lost his ring finger when he tripped and caught his wedding ring on a countertop. In October, Fallon fell as he was being honored by the Harvard Lampoon and was cut by a bottle. He was taken to a hospital to have fingers on his right hand bandaged. Last night, Fallon thanked the audience for putting up with him. He vows to be playing the guitar again in a year.
