(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department has a few emergency flasher bulbs available for senior citizens in the county. The bulbs are used to replace a standard light bulb in porch lights and other areas of the home. Those with an emergency can turn the switch to the bulb on and off twice, turning it into a flashing light. The flashing light saves emergency responders time when finding your home. The bulbs are free and were purchased through the department’s TRIAD organization. Tuscola County senior citizens may stop by the Sheriff’s Department lobby durning regular business hours Monday through Friday between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to pick one up.
