(VERONA TOWNSHIP) — The Huron County Sheriff’s Department is seeking help finding the suspect or suspects responsible for a break-in at the Ubly Foxhunters Club on M-19 in Huron County’s Verona Township. According to Sheriff Kelly Hanson, the culprits gained entry through a window in the building sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. Police say an attempt was made to disable the building’s alarm. Two locked boxes inside the building containing a yet undetermined amount of cash were taken and damage to the building and contents was estimated at approximately $1,000. Hanson says it’s possible that whoever broke in had knowledge of the building and its contents. Sheriff’s deputies are asking that anyone that may have seen activity around the building or that has any other other information about the crime contact the Sheriff’s Office or the confidential TIPS line at 989-269-2861
