(PORT HURON) — Port Huron Police are searching for an attempted armed robbery suspect that struck the Marathon Gas Station at 1301 Military Street on Tuesday just after 10 p.m. Officers say the suspect entered the store and pulled out a long rifle, pointing it at the clerk. As the suspect demanded money, the clerk was able to grab the gun and a struggle ensued. The suspect managed to get the gun back and fled the store on foot. The white man was in his 30’s with a light colored beard. At the time of the attempted heist, he was wearing a fur bomber style hat. A reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
