MILWAUKEE (AP) – The convicted killer featured in “Making a Murderer” has filed an appeal. Steven Avery claims, among other things, that authorities in Wisconsin used an improper warrant to get the goods on him – and that one member of the jury that convicted him had it in for him. Manitowoc County Sheriff Robert Hermann says he hasn’t seen the appeal. But he’s said in the past that the investigation was proper. The Netflix series cast doubt on the legal process used to convict Avery and his nephew in the murder of a photographer. Since the series aired, viewers have flooded social media about their doubts over how the case was handled.
