(DELAWARE TOWNSHIP) — A 16-year old Harbor Beach girl was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Sanilac County’s Delaware Township. Deputies say the vehicle was driven by 18-year old Danniele Moore of Minden City. Moore was traveling north on Schock Road near Russell Road just after midnight when she failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway due to the snowy conditions, entered the ditch and struck a tree. Both Moore and her passenger were picked up by family members before deputies arrived. The Harbor Beach teen was taken to Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe for treatment of her injuries. Deputies say both girls were wearing a seat belt and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
