EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) – Peter Jok scored 19 of his 23 points in the first half to help No. 16 Iowa build a huge lead and the Hawkeyes went on to rout No. 4 Michigan State 76-59 on Thursday night. The Hawkeyes (13-3, 4-0 Big Ten) dominated the Spartans for the second time in two weeks and beat them on the road for the first time since 1993, ending an 18-game losing streak. Michigan State (16-2, 3-2) was down by 22 points at halftime, its largest deficit at home since at least the 1996-97 season and its biggest anywhere in the regular season since trailing at Michigan by 23 points at halftime in 1997, according to STATS. Denzel Valentine had a relatively lackluster game with 14 points, five assists and four rebounds for the stunned Spartans.
