(ARCADIA TOWNSHIP) — A 21-year old North Branch man has been arrested for premeditated murder following the death of a co-worker. Lapeer County authorities were sent to a car fire/explosion on Kings Mill Road near North Branch in Arcadia Township early Saturday just after 1:30 a.m. Firefighters found the victim, 23-year old Miquel Harvey of Port Huron, inside the burned vehicle. That afternoon, Lapeer County Sheriff’s deputies made contact with the suspect, Andrew Hall, at his residence in North Branch. He was arrested on charges of first degree premeditated murder, tampering with evidence, and fourth degree arson. During arraignment Sunday, Hall’s bond was set at $1 million. He remains jailed in Lapeer County. Sheriff’s deputies say both Harvey and Hall were employed at the same factory in Imlay City.
