Peck Schools to welcome new K-12 Principal next week

(PECK) — Students and staff at Peck Community Schools will welcome Bill Kerr, the district’s new K-12 Principal, on Monday, January 25. Kerr is a Peck High School graduate and taught at Kingston Community Schools before taking the Principal position. His hiring and contract were approved during a special meeting on January 6. Peck’s interim part-time Superintendent Frank Johnson has been serving students since the beginning of the month following the resignation of Ryle Kiser. Mr. Kiser accepted the Superintendent position at Grass Lake Community Schools near Jackson. Johnson retired as Superintendent from Yale Public Schools and also served as a part-time Superintendent at Memphis Community Schools.
