(YALE) — A 29-year old Port Huron man was arrested during a drug raid Tuesday night in Yale. St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon says Drug Task Force officers were conducting an investigation into the sales of heroin and raided a home in the 100 block of Mary Street in Yale around 7 p.m. Authorities say there was no heroin found in the residence, but there was packaging material and other evidence of heroin sales. Members of the Drug Task Force seized a dealer’s quantity of marijuana, digital scales, and an unregistered 38-caliber handgun. The suspect is expected to face charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of an unregistered firearm and maintaining a drug house. Yale Police, Sheriff’s deputies, a K-9 unit, and the Special Response Team assisted during the raid.
