Congresswoman Candice Miller receives Lifetime Achievement Award from Michigan Township Association

(AREA) — Congresswoman Candice Miller was recently presented the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Michigan Township Association. The honor is only the fourth Lifetime Achievement Award given by the association in its 63-year history. Prior to being elected to the 10th Congressional District, Miller served as the Harrison Township Supervisor, Macomb County Treasurer, and Michigan Secretary of State. Congresswoman Miller thanks the township members for the extraordinarily humbling honor. She noted the critical role the Michigan Township Association plays in representing and advocating for the states more than 1,200 townships and her understanding of and great appreciation for the challenges they face.
