(SANDUSKY) — Sandusky High School students have partnered with the local VFW and American Legion Posts to collect donations for the purchase of new U.S. flags honoring our veterans. The flags will be displayed in each veterans honor near the War Memorials on the Sanilac County Courthouse lawn in Sandusky during special events and holidays. A $100 contribution purchases a flag for a veteran with a special tribute that includes the new flag and flagpole, base, and an engraved plaque.
