(HARSENS ISLAND) — A body was found off the shore of Harsens Island Wednesday morning. St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon says homeowners in the 1500 block of North Channel Drive discovered the older man’s body floating off the North Channel of the St. Clair River shortly before 10:30 a.m. Clay Township Police received the call and turned the case over to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department. At this time, the victim’s identity has not been determined. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
