UNDATED (AP) – Michigan was the big winner in the battle to land the services of Rashan Gary. The defensive end from New Jersey has been considered the top recruit in the nation and he has committed to playing for the Wolverines. The fact his former coach at Paramus Catholic, Chris Partridge, is the linebackers coach at Michigan, and former high school teammate, Jabrill Peppers, plays defensive back for the Wolverines, may have played into his decision. He is one of five high-profile recruits from New Jersey to be part of coach Jim Harbaugh’s highly rated class.
