(LAPEER COUNTY) — A 23-year old Lapeer man has been sentenced to life in prison for the death of his former girlfriend over 4-years ago. Reports say Kenneth Grondin was convicted of first-degree murder for the death of 20-year old Andrea Eilber back on October 26, 2015. Andrea was killed on November 16, 2011 and found in the basement of a relative’s home in Lapeer County’s Mayfield Township. Authorities say the two were a couple at the time and both worked at the Lapeer Kroger. Grondin was sentenced on Friday in Lapeer County.
