A Mile High City parade

DENVER (AP) – The city of Denver is celebrating the Broncos Super Bowl victory today with a parade covering about a mile-and-a-half. Hundreds of thousands of fans are expected to take part in the festivities as the Broncos and their fans celebrate their first NFL championship in 17 years. Those in attendance will see their favorite players waiving from fire trucks. Police spokesman Doug Schepman wouldn’t talk about the specifics of security but said plenty of officers will be present. And in case you are wondering, alcohol and marijuana, legal in Colorado, have both been banned.
