NEW YORK (AP) – The creator of the online spoof of Donald Trump says he “couldn’t believe it” when Johnny Depp agreed to do the project. Adam McKay is the co-founder of Funny of Die – and says he once the idea was hatched in his mind, he reached out to Depp – and he agreed to come aboard. The mock-documentary is called “Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie.” It’s a comedic attempt to show what it would have been like if Trump had written, directed and edited a movie version of his 1987 best-selling advice book.
