(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office has reinstated their Child Car Safety Seat Program. The program provides instruction and safety tips for child car seats. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office work together with the Safe Kids Greater Thumb and Saginaw Organization. The next car seat event will be held during the 18th Annual Highland Pines Fun Fair in Caro on Saturday, April 23. Certified technicians will check seats to determine if they are appropriate for your child, check to see if the seat has expired or been recalled, and replace seats if possible. It is recommended that parents or guardians bring the vehicle, car seat, and child to the event so deputies can give a proper inspection.
