LOS ANGELES (AP) – “But” is the one word you don’t want to hear when you’re expecting a marriage proposal. Last night on the season finale of “The Bachelor,” Ben Higgins repeatedly told the two finalists he loved each of them. JoJo Fletcher was expecting a ring when Higgins said he loved her. He then added the “but” – saying he loved someone else more. That someone else: Lauren Bushnell. He got down on one knee and popped the question to her. Later on the live reunion show, Lauren said they don’t plan a long engagement but haven’t set a date, yet. Higgins also repeated his proposal in front of their family and friends. Again, Lauren said, “Yes.”
