Drugs seized during raid Tuesday in Port Huron

(PORT HURON) — Two Port Huron area residents were arrested during a drug raid Tuesday night in the 900 block of Ontario Street. Drug Task Force Officers seized around $1,500 worth of crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash, and a switchblade knife. An unregistered handgun was located in the waistband of one of the suspects. A 35-year old woman and 27-year old man face charges including possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender. Three girls, ages 17, 16 and 10 that were home at the time of the raid, were released to family members. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Port Huron Police assisted at the scene.
