(LAPEER) — Michigan State Police have identified the suspect accused of robbing the CMS Marathon station at the corner of Davison and Elba Roads in Lapeer County’s Elba Township early Saturday morning. Troopers from the Lapeer Post report 43-year old Cherron Wright of Mt. Morris is their suspect. He was allegedly seen on camera entering the store and robbing the clerk at around 6 a.m. The suspect then left in a white car. The Lapeer County Sheriff’s Department is assisting with the investigation.
