(PECK) — The Sanilac County 4-H Council will host the 4-H Spring Fair on Saturday, April 16 at Peck Elementary School. The free event will open to the public at 4 p.m. and offer visitors the chance to explore 4-H through club displays, project displays, games, and activities. There will “Make-it-Take-it” crafts for children ages 5-8 years old between 4 and 6 p.m., a nutrition demonstration for those ages 5-10 years old starting at 5:15 p.m., and the 4-H Ag Innovators Experience Honey Bee Challenge activity will begin at 6 p.m. for youth ages 9-19 years old. The evening program begins at 7:30 p.m. and will feature a teen speaker from the Michigan 4-H State Youth Leadership Council who will highlight the leadership development opportunities offered by 4-H.
