(SHERIDAN TWP)–A 58-year-old Bad Axe man was was killed as a result of a motorcycle accident sometime early Sunday morning in Huron County’s Sheridan Township. Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson says that a motorist on his way to work spotted the accident at about 6:30am Sunday on McTaggart Road about a half mile west of Bad Axe Road. Police investigators say the victim, Herbert Engler, was traveling east on McTaggart Road when his Harley Davidson left the road and entered the ditch, flipping and ejecting Engler. The exact time of the accident is not known, but it is believed to have occurred several hours earlier. An autopsy has been ordered by the Huron County Medical Examiner.
