(LAPEER COUNTY) — Authorities continue to investigate the death of a Flint Water Department employee at his home in Lapeer County’s Otter Lake. Lapeer County authorities say 43-year old Matthew McFarland was found at his residence on Saturday, April 16 by a friend. Police say there were no signs of foul play; however, they have not released a cause of death. Reports say the Lapeer County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy, but results did not show an immediate cause. The death remains under investigation.
