(MARLETTE) — Geri Templin of North Branch was recently honored as United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital’s Volunteer of the Year during their annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet. Geri began volunteering for hospice in 2006 and has been instrumental in the continuation of the hospice bereavement program. She also routinely helps in the hospice office with various tasks and is always willing to lend a hand in other areas of need. United Hospice Service volunteers who have received this honor in the past include Thelma McKee, Norretta Darling, Val Benson, Paula Marshall, Joyce Frye, Diana Hutchinson, Mike Hollenbeck, and Pat Boegner.
