NEW YORK (AP) – The Fox network is boasting more original programming than ever next season as three new comedies, six new dramas, two new event series and two new reality series join the 2016-17 schedule. The new lineup will be officially unveiled before advertisers Monday afternoon. New fall fare includes series based on the hit films “The Exorcist” and “Lethal Weapon.” In addition, the comedy “Son of Zorn” is a live-action/animated hybrid about an animated warrior from a faraway island who returns to California to win back his live-action ex-wife and son. Mid-season entries include revivals of past Fox series “Prison Break” and “24,” retitled “24: Legacy.”
