SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) – The San Jose Sharks had never led a Western Conference finals until now. Martin Jones stopped 20 shots and the Sharks grabbed a two-games-to-one lead with a 3-0 win over St. Louis. Jones has stopped 58 straight shots in posting the first back-to-back playoff shutouts in Sharks history. He hasn’t allowed a goal in almost 151 minutes since Jori Lehtera’s second-period goal in Game 1 led to a 2-1 victory. Tomas Hertl scored twice, including the opening goal at 15:53 of the first period. Joonas Donskoi also scored to help San Jose earn its sixth consecutive home playoff victory. Brian Elliott allowed three goals on 14 shots before being pulled following Hertl’s second goal 6:09 into the final period. The series stays in San Jose for Game 4 on Saturday.
