(BAD AXE) — A joint investigation with several law enforcement agencies in Huron County led to the arrest of two suspects accused of stealing TV’s from the Bad Axe WalMart on Thursday afternoon. The Huron County Sheriff’s Department executed a second search warrant after drugs were found inside the house. Officers seized heroin, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun. Charges are being sought for a 28-year old man living at the residence. Friday morning, a second suspect was arrested in the Cass City area for his involvement in the theft. He remains jailed in Huron County. Authorities are still working to locate the third suspect. Assisting in the investigation is the Ubly Police Department and the Michigan State Police.
