(MARLETTE) — Marlette Regional Hospital’s laboratory has been awarded accreditation by the Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists, based on the results of a recent on-site inspection of the laboratory and cardiopulmonary departments. The laboratory at Marlette Regional Hospital is one of more than 7,700 CAP-accredited laboratories worldwide. During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory’s records and quality control of procedures for the preceding 2-years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, as well as the laboratory’s equipment, facilities, safety program and record, in addition to the overall management of the laboratory.
