LOS ANGELES (AP) – “X” marks the spot at your neighborhood multiplex. The latest “X-Men” movie opened at number-one over the holiday weekend. “X-Men: Apocalypse” takes in an estimated $80 million during the four-day Memorial Day weekend, according to comScore. But it lags behind the openings of the last two movies in the X-Men franchise. Johnny Depp’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass” bombs with a distant second-place opening. It barely cracks 34 mil over four days. The movie opened just as Depp’s wife Amber Heard charged he had abused her. She’s won a restraining order against him. “The Angry Birds” movie drops to third.
