PITTSBURGH (AP) – The Penguins successfully defended home ice in the opening game of the Stanley Cup final with a 3-2 win over San Jose last night. Nick Bonino won the game with a goal with 2:32 remaining in the contest. Bonino has had a great post season with four goals and 16 points. After trailing early 2-0, the Sharks roared back to even things up in the opening game of the best of seven series. Game 2 will take place Wednesday night in Pittsburgh.
