Fun for all at the Brown City Soybean Festival this weekend!

(BROWN CITY) — The Brown City Days Soybean Festival is happening this Thursday through Sunday with city wide garage sales, kids games, a grand parade and fireworks. The Sacred Heart Catholic Church Luncheon and Rummage and Bake Sale on Reed Street runs from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday. The midway will open at 5 p.m. followed by the little league games at the Brown City Park. Friday includes live music downtown, the rotary club chicken dinner at the fire hall from 4-8 p.m. kids games, a burn out on Corn Street and karaoke at Jacks ‘R Wild. The refreshment tent behind Jacks ‘R Wild will be open until midnight. Saturday kicks off with the Dr. Ogboh 5K Memorial Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m., 3-on-3 soccer and softball tournaments at the park, the kid’s pet parade at 10 a.m. and the grand parade at 1 p.m. starting at the high school parking lot. The car show downtown is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday with fireworks at dusk. Sunday wraps up with a flea market, free RC plane show, and live music at the Brown City Park. An ATV pull on the east end of town runs from 1-3 p.m. and residents will have the chance to give a pet a forever home with Sanilac County Humane Society Adoptions happening at the park Sunday afternoon.
