(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — The Michigan Department of Transportation will replace the Huron and Eastern Railway crossings on M-138 in Fairgrove beginning Thursday, June 23. The work will require closing M-138 and detour traffic using Vassar Road and Akron Road. M-138 will be closed Thursday at the eastbound/westbound crossing on Center Avenue and is expected to reopen by the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The following week, crews expect to begin work on the northbound/southbound crossings on Main Street.
