SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) – LaMarr Woodley has created a football camp he hopes will provide exposure for overlooked prospects. The NFL linebacker and former Michigan star plans to host his first CAMP 56 July 13th through 14th at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan. Woodley wants to help 110 high school students, none of whom have been heavily recruited, get the attention of college coaches. He says academics will be stressed at the two-day camp, which will include visits from university academic advisers and experts familiar with NCAA rules and standardized testing. CAMP 56 expects to have a staff of college and pro coaches and players, including Woodley, who has played for Arizona, Oakland and Pittsburgh. Woodley will also host a free camp July 16th in his hometown of Saginaw, Michigan.
